by Rabbi Yaakov Spivak
The anti-Semite is always looking for an edge. The anti-Israel Neturei Karta group is the Jew hater's best friend. These vicious, self-hating Jews have sent flowers to an ailing Arafat, have called for the Israeli Defense Forces to throw down their arms and surrender to the PLO, and sent envoys to Ahmadinejad praising his threat to wipe out every man woman and child in the Jewish State.
Why give this tiny group any publicity? Every time there is a rally of Jews against the likes of an Ahmadinejad, there stands the Netrurei Karta group looking like they're headed for a casting call for Fiddler on the Roof, but holding signs that would make Josef Goebbels proud.
Why I have to write about them is due to the fact they parade around as pious, Orthodox Jews in Chasidic garb. As far as their "piety" is concerned, there is none. Any group that warms the hearts of Nazis has to be treated like Nazis. The friend of my enemy is my enemy.
In the time of the Talmud each of these lowlifes would be termed a "rodef," someone who pursues another, attempting to kill him.
I look to the Jewish community leaders, both rabbis and laity, to publicly condemn the Netruei Karta so that the world will not think that hating Jews living in the Jewish State is against the Torah.
